Open Airsoft Pistol Builds

OK, lets keep this simple and easy. Understand, that we are shooters and we are doing this to get YOU involved with an awesome way to train.

We can build you an open airsoft. You decide what you want.

Follow these steps.

Pick silver or black TM 5.1 ($185)
Pick color of magwell ($35 to $40)
Pick red dot sight type and color ($60 to $240)
Select optic mount sideways or regular ($40 to $60)
Select slide racker ($25 to $30)
Total parts installation ($40)

So for as little as $345 you can have a complete open Airsoft, with the best base pistol available.

We want you to train using equipment that most closely resembles your current real steel gear. 1st goal we had was to use the best out of the box pistol available which is universally agreed as the Tokyo Marui 5.1. 2nd goal was to get the right parts at the best price to build an open gun. These parts should meet a variety of open gun setups and we did not want people paying for what won't work or what you won't need (don't worry, we have already wasted enough money trying some of this stuff). 3rd goal was to provide a selection of parts that would also make the pistol appealing to the eye.

Some things we have learned through experience about Airsoft. The big myth is that you have to do a lot of upgrades to the pistol. WRONG. The TM 5.1 is widely held as accurate, reliable, and well made right out of the box. We recommend saving the money and starting with this base pistol, only adding what you need to make it feel like your real pistol.

BAM would recommend that you do not change the internals of the airsoft. We have made many upgrades to TM's and unless you want to start tuning Airsoft, just add the cosmetics items. If you want to go the metal slide, upgrade springs, pistons, seals, valves etc. Etc. We can help you with what we have already done and what was the results.
